Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos joined Senator Serphin R. Maltese at the Glenridge Senior Center to honor Marguerite Adams of Glendale as its "Woman of the Year."

The event marked Senator Leader Skelos’ first official visit to New York City as Majority Leader.

"I am honored that Senate Majority Leader Skelos chose to visit my district to attend his first official ceremony in New York City. It was a wonderful occasion to honor one of the matriarchs of Glendale, our own Marge Adams, for her contributions to the community and the Glenridge Senior Center," said Senator Maltese.

In addition to receiving the "Woman of the Year" honors, Marge Adams also celebrated her 90th birthday and the Glenridge Center celebrated its 35th anniversary.
